What are all these people trying to get a photograph of?
Could this paw-parazzi shot have anything to do with our Feed Me and Pet-tecture launch this morning?
It's only Wednesday but this week has already been a big one for launches here at Phaidon. On Monday we took selected guests on a bus tour of Brutal London buildings to launch Atlas of Brutalist Architecture. Yesterday - as our PhaidonFood instagram followers will know - we launched The Nordic Baking Book with Magnus Nilsson at a special Nordic breakfast which saw Magnus being interviewed by Sportsman owner and chef Stephen Harris at the Store X in London.
We'll be bringing you a special video of that tomorrow and check back later today for some photos and facts from our brutal tour.
However, the array of culinary, architectural and journalistic talent at both of those events paled in comparison to the canine coterie of furtasticness we hounded up this morning at made.com in Shoreditch to mark the launch of our new books Feed Me and Pet-tecture: Design for Pets.
Airedale terriers, sausage dogs, a five month old Welsh terrier called Albee, an Australian Cattle Dog called Rupert (naturally), Kira the English setter, Dolly Pawton a well heeled chihuahua, Marcel the corgi and the excellently named Michael J Fox, were among special guests feasting on good food from Feed Me and pining after some Pet-tecture from the comfort of made.com's new range of pet furniture and accessories. One four legged friend - Emilia - even got a shout out in an introductory speech from the books' publisher, our very own Emilia Terragni!
Hope you enjoy the pics and thanks to all who came. If you have a dog you want to feed properly and healthily buy Feed Me here or a pet in your life needing the perfect place to chill there's Pet-tecture here. Thanks to made.com whose new pet line you can see here.
