Did the new Mugler show influence Kim Kardashian’s look?
Vogue wonders whether Thierry Mugler: Couturissime led the star to wear the French designer’s vintage garments
Sometimes, to stay ahead in fashion, you have to look back. Earlier this month the reality TV and social-media star Kim Kardashian turned heads by wearing vintage Thierry Mugler outfits at a number of key engagements. She wore a 1983 snakeskin printed dress during an appearance on The Tonight Show, and a revealing black number to The Hollywood Beauty Awards.

This run of outfits led Vogue to ask whether the forthcoming Mugler museum retrospective, Thierry Mugler: Couturissime, introduced Kardashian to the legendary French designer.

As if in response, Kardashian flew to Montreal earlier this week to take part in a private view of the show – which opens to the public on 2 March – posing in not one, but two Mugler creations.
