Fredrik Berselius is cooking dinner for Ferran Adrià (and you)
Come and sample the Aska chef recreating the food of el-Bulli legend Ferran Adrià and meet the man himself
How is your September shaping up from here? Well, if you love good food and you can get to New York, it could be looking a whole lot better.
For one night only Fredrik Berselius will celebrate the genius of el-Bulli legend Ferran Adrià, the three Michelin star chef of the famous el-Bulli restaurant in Spain.
Since elBulli’s closure in 2011, Ferran has been lecturing around the world and developing the elBullifoundation, a culinary academy and think tank, on the site of the former restaurant near Barcelona in Spain. But on Thursday September 26 he will be the guest of honour at Fredrik Berselius’s restaurant Aska, in Brooklyn, New York.
Two Michelin starred chef Berselius will create a unique elBulli-inspired menu for a select 40 guests at his restaurant Aska in Williamsburg. Cocktails and canapés will be followed by a multi-course tasting menu. Ferran Adrià will dine with guests and talk about the latest happenings at the elBullifoundation.
Want to go? Of course you do! But don't delay. It’s $1,500 per person for tables of 2 or 4 in the main dining room, or for a table of 8 in the private dining room. Each ticket includes a copy of Adrià's 2011 catalogue raisonné elBulli 2005-2011 (which normally retails for $600) and Fredrik Berselius's 2018 book, Aska (which retails for $59.95).
The evening kicks off at 6:30pm with cocktails and remarks before sitting down for the culinary experience of a lifetime between 7:00-7:30pm. For reservations please call +1 929-337-6792 or email info@askanyc.com
