Enjoy Today’s Special in your own kitchen
Chefs featured in our new book of hot culinary talent are now offering dine-at-home boxes. This is how you can get a taste
Our new book Today’s Special features the men and women who are truly going to change the way we eat out in future. In it, twenty of the globe's leading chef-curators - 10 men and 10 women - each select five emerging chefs from around the world, showcasing a variety of styles of food, restaurants, and personalities that you'll want to know more about.
Of course, few of us are able to eat out right now. However, we have found a way for food lovers to gain access to this new culinary talent. Today marks the launch of the Today’s Special At Home program - a run of 200 limited edition dine-at-home boxes being created by four chefs across the US, presenting dishes from, and inspired by Today’s Special, the book in which the chefs are all featured.
Participating chefs include Gavin Kaysen at Spoon and Stable in Minneapolis, Ryan Smith at Staplehouse in Atlanta, Aaron Verzosa at Archipelago in Seattle, and Jamie Malone at Grand Café in Minneapolis. Supported by S.Pellegrino and Phaidon, the Today’s Special At Home program celebrates the ways restaurants have reimagined, evolved, and inspired us over the last year.
Each chef will be offering a different box. Order from Spoon and Stable, for example, and you’ll receive a copy of the cookbook signed by Kaysen, a bottle of S. Pellegrino water, and an ingredient box filled with the makings of Spoon and Stable's iconic recipes featured in the book: Dorothy's Pot Roast, Spinach & Cheese Curds, Honey & Cream Cake.
Visit the websites of the above restaurants for information on ordering and availability, and, to get more insight into their food, lives and restaurants, order a copy of Today’s Special here.
